In this role on the Trust team, you'll work on initiatives with impact across some of the fastest growing areas of business at Vanta, and major impact for our largest customers. You will also identify, scope, and lead large technical projects, laying the groundwork for building highly performant, reliable, and customizable systems. Influence the development of high-ROI product features and supporting infrastructure to accelerate the roadmap and land impact faster.

Build backend systems in a modern monorepo using TypeScript and Node.js to design and develop backend services that power APIs, job schedulers, and index calculation engines. Redesign and scale the job orchestration framework; maintain and evolve the data pipeline; collaborate directly with leadership; drive reliability and operational excellence; and contribute to engineering culture.

As a Software Engineer within our Autonomy & Algorithms teams, you will build pipelines, tools, and automated workflows to accelerate the development of our AI-first self-driving technology. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team of world-renowned scientists and software engineers to build innovative, practical, and scalable solutions to challenging problems.

As a Senior Software Engineer I, maintain, improve, and expand Aledade's web application and data pipelines, creating secure, maintainable, performant, correct, scalable, and stable solutions to the complex and unique challenges in the healthcare industry. Embrace strategies that minimize risk, leaning towards observability, alerting, metrics, high test coverage, and frequent releases that incrementally build value.

This is a foundational role, early in this evolution. Getting the infrastructure, context, and delivery pipeline right is key. You’ll be a key contributor in shaping the technical foundations of how AI-powered product development actually works. You might build APIs and orchestration layers that connect AI reasoning to developer workflows, design and implement our MCP API, and help build our first ingestion agent.
