Sr. Backend Engineer

Zapier’s Integration Platform Zone is the engine that connects Zapier to the outside world and is responsible for building, maintaining, and evolving the systems behind the thousands of integrations. They are hiring a Sr. Backend Engineer to help them build, expand and fix integrations, with a focus on AI integrations. This team has a close relationship with top stakeholders in the industry to keep up with the new AI apps launched every day. As a Backend Engineer you will build, expand and maintain integrations, contribute to platform-wide initiatives that make integrations easier to build, test, and maintain and improve observability and reliability across integration infrastructure at scale. You will also support the launch of AI-driven features and help integrate LLM-friendly capabilities across the integration layer.
