About the Role:

  • This position offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of financial regulation, capital markets, and public policy.
  • You will serve as KBRA's primary Washington, DC-based representative for regulatory and policy engagement activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze regulatory and legislative developments, tracking emerging trends and assessing implications.
  • Conduct policy research, prepare internal memoranda, issue summaries, and talking points for senior leadership.
  • Support engagement with regulators, trade associations, and industry participants, and help coordinate responses to consultations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred in Public Policy, Law, Economics, or related field.
  • Approximately 6–8 years of experience in financial regulation, government affairs, or public policy.
  • Strong research, writing, analytical, and communication skills with attention to detail.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Anticipated annual base salary range of $160,000 - $200,000, determined by experience and geography.
