Principal Backend Engineer

Role Overview:

• We are seeking a Principal Backend Engineer to own scalability, reliability, and architectural evolution of an AI platform.
• This is a high-impact, high-ownership role at the intersection of distributed systems engineering and applied AI.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end backend architecture for multi-tenant, high-throughput extraction workloads.
• Architect and evolve AI pipelines with LLM abstraction, async workers, and observability.
• Lead engineering leadership, mentor senior engineers, and drive technical roadmap.

Required Skills:

• 12+ years of backend engineering with distributed systems.
• Expert-level Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, and AWS.
• Deep LLM integration experience and security fundamentals.
