Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable data platforms and pipelines on AWS services like Redshift, S3, and MWAA/Airflow to support analytics and AI/ML initiatives.
- Work collaboratively to build a data warehouse, process data using Python, and operationalize data for AI use cases by creating feature pipelines and model inputs.
- Utilize AI-assisted development tools for code generation and automation to enhance developer productivity and reduce manual effort.
Qualifications:
- Possess 5+ years of Data Engineering experience with 5 years in Python scripting and Agile methodologies, plus 3 years with the AWS ecosystem (Redshift, EMR, S3, MWAA).
- Demonstrate strong SQL skills for understanding and troubleshooting complex queries, along with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Hold a BS degree or higher in computer science or a related field, with a focus on understanding complex metrics and supporting production systems.
