Position Overview:
- Manage student enrollment, attendance, and records in compliance with TEA rules and Texas Education Code.
- Ensure integrity of student data used for PEIMS, funding, and accountability reporting.
- Oversee accurate import and maintenance of student data within PowerSchool SIS.
Essential Position Functions:
- Process inbound and outbound student records requests in accordance with privacy laws.
- Collect, organize, and analyze data to support compliance and operational decisions.
- Train staff on data entry and compliance procedures, and collaborate with IT and enrollment teams.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
- Proficiency in PowerSchool/Ascender SIS or other student information systems.
- Strong knowledge of FERPA and other student data privacy laws.
- Ability to analyze and present data reports to school leadership.
