- Lead by example by personally building prototypes, core libraries, and foundational projects that set the standard for team development.
- Run a rigorous design review process prioritizing backward compatibility and solid verification for data-heavy systems.
Technical Focus:
- Evolve microservices built on Node.js/EKS/AWS, focused on reducing technical debt and improving efficiency at scale.
- Master the data lifecycle from IoT ingestion to storage and processing, building foundations for future team ownership.
- Implement observability and monitoring standards to ensure the platform meets high uptime and reliability targets.
Qualifications & Collaboration:
- 12+ years of software engineering experience with 4+ years in an architectural leadership role owning technical standards across multiple teams.
- Deep expertise in distributed systems, microservices, and strong hands-on experience with JavaScript and Node.js in service-based architectures.
- Demonstrated ability to influence across teams and work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive alignment.
