Staff Accountant

As part of the Finance & Accounting team, you will be responsible for handling general accounting functions including accruals, prepaid amortization, fixed asset depreciation and amortization, preparing journal entries and account reconciliations. Ensuring the timely close of the company’s financial records on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Assisting in year-end financial reporting and audit processes by preparing supporting schedules and audit deliverables. You will apply accounting principles in accordance with US GAAP to prepare, analyze, and deliver complete and accurate financial reports. Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust internal controls over financial reporting. Identify opportunities to streamline accounting, reconciliation, and reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy across accounting functions. Prepare and file various state and local tax forms and other regulatory filing requirements. Provide ongoing support of internal customer needs, specifically Operations, Sales, FP&A, and Legal teams. Participate in developing and refining day-to-day operating practices with a focus on continued process improvement. Perform adhoc projects to support finance, accounting, and various cross-functional initiatives.
