About the Role:
- This is a part-time adjunct faculty position for the B.S. Psychology program in the College of Interdisciplinary Undergraduate Studies.
- Faculty manage their own time, teaching asynchronous online courses with 6-week terms.
- Responsibilities include engaging with students at least four days a week and providing timely feedback.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate and engage in discussion boards, assess student work, and be available via video chat or phone.
- Support course content development, university committees, and administrative needs as needed.
- Establish an accessible and supportive virtual classroom environment.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in the discipline or closely related field required; three or more years of postsecondary teaching experience preferred.
- Experience teaching adult learners and in online or distance-learning environments strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated commitment to fostering empowerment and supporting diverse adult learners.
