About the Role:

  • This is a part-time adjunct faculty position for the B.S. Psychology program in the College of Interdisciplinary Undergraduate Studies.
  • Faculty manage their own time, teaching asynchronous online courses with 6-week terms.
  • Responsibilities include engaging with students at least four days a week and providing timely feedback.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate and engage in discussion boards, assess student work, and be available via video chat or phone.
  • Support course content development, university committees, and administrative needs as needed.
  • Establish an accessible and supportive virtual classroom environment.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in the discipline or closely related field required; three or more years of postsecondary teaching experience preferred.
  • Experience teaching adult learners and in online or distance-learning environments strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated commitment to fostering empowerment and supporting diverse adult learners.
