Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and update policy documents, standard operating procedures and technical standards for telehealth and healthcare technology deployment.
- Support enterprise standardization efforts for telehealth technologies and workflows, ensuring alignment with cybersecurity and patient safety guidelines.
- Facilitate governance activities, coordinate stakeholder reviews and support audits and assessments to ensure compliance.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 4+ years of experience in policy development, governance or standardization within a federal, healthcare or regulated environment.
- Strong understanding of federal regulations and frameworks such as HIPAA, NIST and FISMA, and experience supporting compliance activities.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience developing policies or standards related to telehealth, digital health or healthcare technology management.
- Familiarity with VA governance structures, federal policy lifecycle processes or aligning policy with cybersecurity frameworks like RMF.
- Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-wide standardization initiatives across large, distributed organizations and supporting regulatory reviews.
