AI Engineering Lead

The Role:

• Lead a small remote team of engineers designing and shipping production-grade agentic AI systems.
• Act as trusted technical counterpart to enterprise clients, validating AI value and redesigning business processes.
• Personally implement critical components and shape engineering culture through shared assets.

• Discover: Validate business opportunities against AI capabilities and constraints.
• Design: Own solution architecture across agents, tools, data, evaluations, and controls.
• Deliver: Lead team from implementation through adoption, ensuring engineering quality and production readiness.

What We're Looking For:

• Proven technical leadership with experience leading small engineering teams and shipping production AI systems.
• Strong coding skills in Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, and ability to write production-grade code.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across engineering and business.
