Job Description
We are seeking Junior to Semi-Senior Back-End Engineers (Perl) who are passionate about building scalable and high-performing back-end systems. This role is ideal for developers eager to grow their skills in a collaborative environment within the technology industry. You'll work with modern Perl frameworks, SQL/NoSQL databases, and RESTful APIs, collaborating across engineering and DevOps teams to deliver performant, maintainable, and secure systems. This is a full-time, remote opportunity for candidates located in LatAm , working in alignment with EST/EDT (UTC-5) time zone.
Responsibilities include Perl Back-End Development; designing, developing, and maintaining robust back-end services and APIs using Perl, building applications using Mojolicious, Catalyst, or Dancer frameworks, and optimizing and refactoring legacy Perl code for maintainability and performance. System Integration & Collaboration; working closely with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and other technical teams, ensuring seamless integration of system components and third-party services. Code Quality, Performance & Security; optimizing code for scalability, performance, and security. Continuous Learning & Initiative; staying current with evolving Perl technologies and back-end engineering trends, taking ownership of tasks and contributing proactively to team objectives.
