Psychiatrist (MD/DO)

Role Overview:

• Provide psychiatric care remotely to individuals who may face barriers to finding a provider.
• Work alongside BetterHelp's network of licensed therapists to deliver collaborative, evidence-based treatment.
• Focus on patient care while BetterHelp handles credentialing, payer enrollment, and platform operations.

What You'll Do:

• Conduct video consultations and communicate with patients through telemedicine.
• Assess, screen, diagnose, and prescribe medication when clinically appropriate.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate with therapists.

Who We're Looking For:

• At least one year of experience as a licensed Psychiatrist with an active MD/DO license.
• Comfortable using technology and delivering high-quality care virtually.
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach.

Important to Know:

• This is a part-time, independent contractor (1099) position, not a salaried role.
• All patient care is delivered remotely through BetterHelp's telehealth platform.
• Estimated effective hourly earnings are $119–$242 per hour, based on modeled assumptions.
