Data Conversion Developer

Responsibilities:

• Develop data conversion code using modern Perl and SQL on Linux/MySQL platforms and a proprietary parallel-computing framework.
• Debug complex data issues, focusing on fixing the last 10% of client data to ensure accuracy and integrity.
• Work in pairs with data analysts to receive specs, validate conversions, and incorporate client feedback.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience writing production-quality code, with Perl experience preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of relational databases and SQL, with MySQL experience as a bonus.
• Plus experience in areas like Linux BASH shell scripting, Makefiles, or container management with Docker.

Work Environment:

• This is a remote position within the United States, with occasional travel for on-site meetings (2-4 weeks per year).
