Strategic Sourcing Director

The Strategic Sourcing Director is responsible for negotiation, development, and administration of vendor contracts, as well as the ongoing relationship with Banner Bank's strategic vendors. This role involves leading the vendor management program, providing oversight and coordination of vendor management contracting and relationships across the company. It's responsible for implementation and leadership of the vendor management lifecycle, including sourcing, negotiation, contracting, performance management, and ensuring appropriate discipline and procedures are in place to support effective vendor performance. In this role, you create multi-year plans, lead vendor selection, assist with contracting activities, and ensure the right elements are in the contract. You establish direction for strategic vendor sourcing and management practices across the company, communicate Banner Bank’s objectives to Executive Leaders, and manage the IT Department on vendor management practices. This also involves ensuring contract arrangements are tracked and monitored, leading cross-functional teams, identifying opportunities for improved vendor performance, and collaborating with stakeholders on projects involving new vendor relationships.
