LATAM Senior Performance Tester (JMeter)

Praxent is seeking a LATAM Senior Performance Tester with expertise in designing and executing performance tests with JMeter, as well as experience with SQL/DB performance testing. The successful candidate will enhance the team's capacity to deliver assigned stories by the end of each sprint, perform automated testing and API testing for complex applications and scenarios, and demonstrate proficiency in automation, API testing, and accessibility testing principles and solutions. They should also serve as a technical SME in the sprint, ensuring successful delivery of the sprint commitment by prioritizing testing efforts and enhancing acceptance criteria. This role involves presenting robust testing plans, metrics, and other valuable insight and direction during sprint review meetings, along with proposing solutions and improvements to clients that improve our ability to deliver value. The role requires 5-8 years of professional experience in relevant technology and projects, including leading and executing automated testing for web and mobile applications, and leveraging industry-standard tools to ensure optimal product quality across all stages of the software testing lifecycle. Client leadership experience, mentorship experience, and relevant education are also important for success in this role.
