Engineering Team Lead

As the most senior Engineer in our team, you’ll be both a player (90%) and coach (10%) leading a talented team of engineers working across both our market leading investment platforms. This role blends hands-on development with team leadership, giving you the opportunity to shape the technology that powers two of Australia's most popular investing websites. You’ll drive technical direction, champion best practices, and play a key role in enhancing our platforms and internal systems. Just as importantly, you’ll mentor and support whilst scaling your team - fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment where people are empowered to do their best work. You’ll help architect and build the next generation of Australia’s most visited stock market platform, Market Index, alongside Livewire. You will also play a central role in re-platforming legacy systems onto modern, scalable infrastructure and build high-performance APIs and scalable backend services, enabling millions of monthly investor interactions. You will work on real production applications of AI and LLMs for investment data extraction, content summarisation, and intelligent automation. Mentor and lead a team of engineers, contribute to technical leadership, and influence product direction through close collaboration with product and design.
