DMG Analyst (Multiple Levels)

What you’ll do:

• Make big data fast by tuning complex T-SQL against multi-terabyte claims datasets using execution plans, Query Store, and wait statistics.
• Engineer for performance with clustered, nonclustered, filtered, and columnstore indexing, plus partitioning and statistics strategies.
• Keep the platform healthy by monitoring database performance, resolving blocking and deadlocks, and partnering on backups and high availability.

What you bring:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a SQL Server DBA or database engineer with expert-level T-SQL and query optimization.
• Deep knowledge of SQL Server internals including indexing, statistics, partitioning, DMVs, wait stats, and Extended Events.
• A root-cause mindset with experience working on multi-terabyte databases and enterprise data warehouses.

Bonus points:

• Experience with medical and pharmacy claims or healthcare payment integrity.
• Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance, or cloud database migrations.
• Automation with PowerShell or Python.
