PlanetScale is seeking a Software Engineer: Information Security to help build security into every layer of the database infrastructure. The role involves designing and implementing security controls for the cloud-native database platform, protecting millions of queries per second. The engineer will collaborate with teams to conduct security reviews, threat modeling, and provide secure coding guidance. The engineer should be passionate about building secure, scalable systems and be proficient in Go and cloud security and have experience with security frameworks. The role will involve incident response and vulnerability management.
