The Semgrep Security Advocacy team drives awareness and preference for Semgrep within both application security and software development communities. A Security Advocate will educate teams on secure coding, activate them through delightful product onboarding experiences, and encourage community champions to become force-multipliers that amplify our messages. As part of the Ubuntu Security Team, work with some of the best and brightest people in technology to monitor, triage, respond to, and document new and existing vulnerabilities in open source software. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to identify issues, prioritize them, and coordinate remediation. This engineering-focused role may also involve producing security assessments, building features, conducting code reviews, developing internal tools, engaging with the open source community, and participating in industry initiatives and events.

Join our Proofs Team as a Protocol Engineer. You'll contribute to the evolution of our proof system, evolving it to ZK proofs with fast withdrawals. Evolve our proof system to meet stage 2 requirements using ZK validity proofs and a multi-proof system. Develop important Rust-based OP Stack infrastructure, and some Go-based infrastructure and tools. Help keep the Superchain secure by improving our monitoring and automated response systems.
