Role & Responsibilities:
- Participate in design discussions across the full development lifecycle, focusing on mathematical and numerical layers.
- Build and verify GoldSim models for QA, example shipping, and customer support.
- Document theoretical basis and practical implementation of numerical methods to distribute knowledge.
Collaboration & Support:
- Work with software engineering team to integrate new numerical capabilities into the platform.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Serve as a technical resource for customer support and QA on advanced modeling questions.
Growth & Modernization:
- Bring curiosity for modern computational approaches, including applying machine learning to simulation.
- Help identify opportunities to modernize GoldSim's algorithmic infrastructure.
- Communicate mathematical concepts clearly to engineers and stakeholders.
