- Manage rolling stock engineering projects/assignments from concept to completion in passenger rail, including new vehicle procurement and modifications to existing equipment.
- Oversee technical aspects of rail and transportation projects, ensuring accuracy, schedule adherence, and budget compliance.
Deliverables & Quality:
- Develop project plans, design frameworks, specifications, analyses, calculations, reports, drawings, simulations, and related documents.
- Deliver work product against QA/QC procedures and drive continuous improvement across project execution.
Collaboration & Growth:
- Support technical liaison with clients and stakeholders, and guide and mentor team members to achieve project objectives.
- Engage in client relations, marketing activities, proposal development, and contract negotiations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 15+ years of rail vehicle engineering experience and P.E. license preferred.
- Experience with intercity, commuter, light/heavy rail and low-/zero-emission systems is advantageous.
