Software Engineer, Shell - AI Training (Freelance, Remote)

As an AI Tutor - Shell, you’ll use your command-line and scripting expertise to improve AI-generated code and ensure it aligns with Shell’s portability, safety, and scripting best practices. Your responsibilities include reviewing Shell scripts for correctness, efficiency, and idiomatic command usage, solving practical automation and system-level tasks using Shell scripting and explaining your process. You will also need to identify and correct flaws in AI output or unclear script logic, summarize your approach and decision-making clearly and concisely. They are looking for someone fluent in English with strong writing and communication skills, with expertise in Shell—POSIX-compliant scripting, environment management, process control, and text manipulation tools (e.g., awk , sed , grep ).
