What you'll do:
- Design and implement backend services in Scala for evaluation, risk, and trading services.
- Build and evolve actor-based systems (Akka) that handle high-throughput market data.
- Own features end-to-end: from technical spec through implementation, code review, and production hand-off.
What you'll need:
- 5+ years of backend software engineering experience with production systems handling real-time data.
- Strong, hands-on Scala expertise with functional patterns and testing.
- Experience with actor-based concurrency models (Akka) and relational databases (PostgreSQL).
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary range: $125,000 - $175,000 USD plus 10% annual target bonus.
