Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze customer RFQ packages and Terms and Conditions, interfacing with the Key Account Manager to translate needs into an offer.
- Prepare financial decks for tender reviews, including cost roll-ups and price bridges using historical data analysis.
- Support pricing activities and cost estimation to ensure bids meet financial objectives while being competitive.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field, with 3+ years experience in tender/bids, business development, or commercial roles, ideally in rail or OEM markets.
- Desired skills include communication, strategic thinking, negotiation, and knowledge of CRM tools like Salesforce.
Work Arrangement & Additional Info:
- While the position is primarily remote, it may include occasional work at a Wabtec office or attendance at offsites as agreed with your manager.
- The role involves performing other duties outside your function with adequate training provided if necessary.
