Accountabilities:
- Independently manage PIP/No-Fault/SIU litigation from inception to resolution, handling case evaluation, discovery, motion practice, and settlement negotiations.
- Conduct SIU Examinations Under Oath and prepare detailed fraud indicator reports, while developing defense strategies and assessing liabilities.
- Serve as a legal advisor to claims professionals, providing strategic case assessments and preparing witnesses for testimony.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with the New York State Bar.
- 5+ years of PIP/No-Fault litigation or equivalent insurance defense experience, with ability to manage a full litigation caseload independently.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills, plus experience in arbitrations, EUOs, and depositions.
