This position involves design and analysis, focusing on researching, designing, and evaluating CPU microarchitectural components and optimizing PPA trade-offs for AI, HPC, and cloud workloads. It requires building and validating performance/functional models, running simulations, and correlating results to RTL to guide architectural decisions.

Innovation and prototyping are essential, involving proposing, modeling, and prototyping new mechanisms to improve efficiency, scalability, and performance. The role includes collaboration and research by aligning roadmaps with hardware, compiler, and system teams and staying updated on trends in CPU, memory, interconnect, and AI-adjacent architectures.

The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills and proven ability to drive architectural proposals from concept to validation.
