Technical Accountant

Mitratech is seeking a Technical Accountant with a strong dedication to hard work and continuous improvement. This role serves as a subject matter expert on complex accounting matters, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and relevant standards. Responsibilities include researching and interpreting accounting issues, drafting accounting policies, monitoring emerging pronouncements, and assisting in financial statement preparation.

The Technical Accountant will also support external audits, partner with finance, operations, and legal teams, and guide revenue recognition, leases, and equity compensation. They will identify opportunities to enhance accounting processes, ensure financial data integrity, and leverage technology to streamline processes. Assisting in team training and development is also a key aspect of this role.
