Job Description
The Clinical Specialist will utilize motivational interviewing techniques to explore and resolve ambivalence regarding engaging in services. They will also complete all paperwork, referrals, and case notes in an accurate and timely manner, as well as facilitate linkage to internal and external services and resources. The individual will actively and accurately match patients with internal service providers and facilitate scheduling, working with patients to resolve barriers to services. They will complete outbound calls to provide additional support to at-risk patients to support attendance to initial therapy appointments. The role also requires assessing for lethality and escalating when necessary, covering clinical escalation during breaks, collaborating with the peer support team, and completing assessments for patient overflow.
