Job Description
The Affordable Regional Portfolio Manager is directly responsible for managing a group of assets as assigned by FPI Management. This individual enforces all FPI Management policies, procedures, and internal operations, being accountable for all operations of the assets in their inventory to meet the expectations of each Client based on the respective operating budget and management agreement.
Duties include ensuring compliance with housing laws, LIHTC policies, and regulatory requirements. The role involves conducting file reviews, inspections, preparing budgets, monitoring financial status, and maintaining property standards. It also includes training employees, responding to inquiries, and ensuring compliance with safety policies.
Minimum requirements include 3 yearsβ experience with affordable housing programs (LIHTC, HUD, USDA-Rural Development), affordable housing accreditation, and 2 years' experience in a similar leadership role within property management. Proficiency in English, Yardi, and Microsoft Office is required. Embracing core values, positive communication skills, and meeting training requirements are essential.
