Senior Software Engineer, Payments/Fintech

Versant is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our FinTech team to design, build, and scale high-quality global software solutions for high-volume payment processing and fund distribution. In this role, you will collaborate with product managers, finance, compliance, engineering peers, and the QA team to drive technical initiatives. You will be responsible for ensuring money flows reliably, securely, and on time across our platform while meeting or exceeding strict performance and regulatory standards. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain systems for processing payments, scheduling payouts, and reconciling transactions. Your work includes integrating with third-party payment processors, banks, and financial networks, and implementing automated reconciliation and reporting pipelines.
