Responsibilities:

Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting aligned with nonprofit standards.
Oversee all audit activities, including financial statement audits, Single Audits, and retirement plan audits, while managing Form 990 filings.
Strengthen internal controls and accounting policies to maintain a robust control environment and safeguard assets.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business, plus a CPA designation and preferably an MBA.
Proven experience in financial management, nonprofit accounting, fund accounting, and federal funds compliance.
Strong people and project management skills, with a commitment to collaboration and customer service.

Compensation and Conditions:

Full-time, exempt role with a salary range of $170,000 to $195,000 annually.
Option for full-time remote work, with preference for candidates near NYC or Chicago offices.
