Database Administrator - Junior

Support the design, creation, and maintenance of databases in a client/server environment. Monitor database performance and support system tuning efforts. Assist with implementing database security measures, backups, and recovery solutions. Perform database programming and scripting using SQL-based languages (e.g., Oracle PL/SQL, T-SQL). Maintain database dictionaries and support documentation to ensure accuracy and integrity of systems. Support quality control and auditing of databases to ensure the proper use of data. Participate in integration efforts to ensure seamless communication between front-end and back-end systems. Ensure compliance with DoD database management policies and standards. Collaborate with systems engineers and application developers to support ongoing projects.
