Staff Analytics Engineer

About the Role:

• Rula is looking for a Staff Analytics Engineer to anchor our Universal Horizontal Platform Layer.
• You will serve as the structural enforcer and architectural leader for our data ecosystem, guiding domain engineers through an organization-wide migration to Snowflake and Medallion architectures.

What You'll Do:

• Lead the overall design and execution of Rula's migration to Snowflake, establishing structural blueprints and Medallion execution playbooks.
• Act as a critical technical bridge between engineering and business strategy, negotiating technical boundaries with leadership.
• Own Snowflake compute-cost profiling and warehouse performance globally, establishing financial and operational baselines.

Required Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in analytics engineering or data architecture with a proven track record of systems-level work.
• Expert-level SQL proficiency and experience designing data models using Medallion architectures.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with dbt to build and orchestrate ELT pipelines.
