Engineering Manager (AI Team)

As an engineering manager, you’ll lead a team of 4-6 engineers who turn state-of-the-art AI technology into product features that supercharge creators to build engaging learning experiences. As a leader, you’ll be accountable for the team shipping reliable, scalable, AI-powered functionality. You may spend less time writing code but there is an expectation to still engage in technical work such as feature development, bug fixes and maintenance, focusing on the productivity of your team over your own output. More than writing code, you’ll hold responsibility for identifying bottlenecks in the process and unblocking these roadblocks to ensure team success. Roadmap ambiguous opportunities into a clear, value-driven backlog; partner with Product and Design leads to define and deliver on goals. Lead by example by contributing to critical PRs, prototypes, and production debugging. Uphold high design and review standards. Coach, hire and retain a high-performing, diverse engineering team. Deliver compelling products, features and services while providing transparent updates, timeline estimates, and demos along the way.
