Responsibilities:

  • Manages chemotherapy, side effects, and patient symptoms proactively through assessment and intervention.
  • Works with patients and families to explain disease processes and treatment plans, addressing clinical and psychosocial issues.
  • Documents all care activities in real-time within the electronic medical record system.

Qualifications:

  • Requires graduation from an accredited RN Nursing program and an active RN license in the state of employment.
  • Minimum of two years of oncology experience and five years of overall nursing experience are mandatory.
  • Must have excellent critical thinking, independent work capability in a remote setting, and strong computer skills including data entry and Excel.

Logistics:

  • Standard workdays are Monday through Friday, commonly 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST, with flexibility based on business needs and time zones.
  • Occasional travel is required, specifically to the Fort Myers area for an annual company meeting.
