Founding Engineer

This is a fully remote, full-time position. At Paradigm, they want to build an environment where everyone can bring their best self to work while maintaining a healthy relationship with themselves, their families, and their communities. As Paradigm’s Founding Engineer, you will build core product experiences end-to-end, especially new AI-driven features and intelligence layers. You will own the technical stack including architecture, DevOps, data pipelines, backend, frontend, integrations. You will prototype rapidly, using AI tools to accelerate development, explore ideas, and test assumptions. You will partner directly with the CEO and Head of Engineering on product direction, technical strategy, and roadmap decisions. You will establish and apply engineering best practices around security, testing, observability, and reliability (lightweight and pragmatic). Work creatively to identify simple and scalable solutions to technical challenges and operate with a strong bias toward speed, clarity, simplicity, and ownership.
