The West Region Dams and Reservoirs team of AECOM is actively seeking a motivated, creative, highly talented Structural Engineer Discipline Lead with risk analysis experience in the dams and hydraulics structures industry to telecommute employment for the Denver, CO office. The main responsibilities include technical coordination of structural engineering aspects, ensuring QA/QC implementation, leading responses to client comments, and ensuring designs are completed per obligations and standards. The position also requires managing and providing technical support for structural analyses, preparing reports, drawings, and specifications for water storage and hydropower dams. Additionally, the role involves performing dam safety inspections, participating in failure mode and risk analyses, and training and mentoring staff. Project management duties include interfacing with teams and clients, preparing proposals, supporting marketing coordination, and managing budgets. The ideal candidate will anticipate potential budget and schedule impacts and implement alternative actions.
