Job Description
The Head of Client Assets will be responsible for the safeguarding and segregation of client assets in compliance with regulatory requirements. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper safekeeping of assets, overseeing daily safeguarding operations and reconciliations, and managing CSSF reporting obligations. You will play a key role in audits, preparing management information for the Audit, Risk, and Compliance Committee, and delivering training on safeguarding protocols.
Job duties include monitoring and ensuring segregation of client assets, accurate record maintenance, implementing management controls for corporate collateral, overseeing segregated vaults for prime institutional clients, coordinating with the wallet team, monitoring retail order management, managing transfer and venue kill switches, maintaining safeguarding documentation, implementing a Safeguarding Control Framework, acting as the Direct Responsible Individual for safeguarding incidents, preparing regulatory reporting, and leading audit examinations of client asset arrangements.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field and 5+ years of experience in finance, treasury, accounting, or operations, preferably with experience in a regulated financial services firm. Strong knowledge of Luxembourg’s financial regulations and fluency in English are essential. Must be based in Luxembourg.
