Responsibilities:

  • Analyze warranty and MGA program profitability and present results to business leaders.
  • Perform pricing studies for new and renewal customers and programs.
  • Support internal financial statement development around loss sensitive elements of the business.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of P&C actuarial experience in reserving, pricing and/or predictive modeling.
  • Successful completion of 3 or more Casualty Actuarial Society exams.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including advanced Excel and proficiency in Word and PowerPoint.

Preferences:

  • Experienced SQL user able to independently query and manipulate large data sets to develop business-relevant observations and conclusions and to support decision-making.
  • Programming skills – R, Python, SAS, other predictive modeling platforms.
  • Experience working with warranty products, workers compensation or other commercial lines of business preferred.
