Responsibilities:
- Analyze warranty and MGA program profitability and present results to business leaders.
- Perform pricing studies for new and renewal customers and programs.
- Support internal financial statement development around loss sensitive elements of the business.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of P&C actuarial experience in reserving, pricing and/or predictive modeling.
- Successful completion of 3 or more Casualty Actuarial Society exams.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including advanced Excel and proficiency in Word and PowerPoint.
Preferences:
- Experienced SQL user able to independently query and manipulate large data sets to develop business-relevant observations and conclusions and to support decision-making.
- Programming skills – R, Python, SAS, other predictive modeling platforms.
- Experience working with warranty products, workers compensation or other commercial lines of business preferred.
