OpenObserve is seeking a dynamic Senior Sales Engineer to bridge the gap between our cutting-edge observability platform and customer success. This role combines technical expertise with customer-facing skills to drive both pre-sales and post-sales success. You'll work closely with our sales team to architect tailored observability solutions and guide customers through implementation and optimization of their monitoring infrastructure.
As a key player, you will partner with sales teams, conduct technical discovery sessions, and design observability architectures. You will also lead technical demos and address objections. Post-sales responsibilities include guiding customers through onboarding, developing implementation plans, and troubleshooting issues. Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric mindset are essential for success in this role, where you'll build relationships and advocate for customer needs. This role requires approximately 25-30% travel for customer meetings, conferences, and on-site implementations.
