Storage Engineer

DMI, LLC is seeking a Storage Engineer to join us. Knowledge of the SAN, NAS & DAS hardware and software for storage, specifically Cisco and Brocade fabric architectures and tiered multi-protocol storage models is required. The candidate should have broad familiarity with all storage systems and backup environments, including knowledge and understanding of storage protocols and hardware such as iSCSI, Fiber Channel, CIFS, NFS, and NDMP. The role involves extensive experience in design and documentation of backup/restore strategies via enterprise-class backup solutions and automated library systems. Knowledge and experience with storage in a VMware and Red Hat virtualization environment is essential. Other duties include designing and implementing storage for enterprise services such as MS Exchange, MS SharePoint, MS SQL, Active Directory, Windows Server, Oracle, and Oracle DRA/CA, as well as managing and providing near real-time storage usage statistics, storage management and capacity management, and providing future projected growth estimates. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years' experience in the design, configuration, and support of large enterprise storage requirements, as well as experience performing capacity planning, performance analysis, and development of compute, network, and storage infrastructure disaster recovery plans.
