Accountabilities:
- Conduct comprehensive medical necessity reviews across healthcare services using evidence-based guidelines.
- Lead peer-to-peer discussions with practitioners to communicate clinical rationales and explore alternatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve utilization management processes and member outcomes.
Requirements:
- Hold an MD or DO degree with board certification in Psychiatry and an active U.S. medical license.
- Have at least 5 years of clinical practice and 2-3 years of utilization management experience.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills and ability to manage high-volume cases remotely.
