Responsibilities:
- Design and implement PHP applications with object-oriented principles and MVC architecture.
- Write efficient SQL queries and manage database schema design, preferably with Oracle.
- Integrate front-end technologies like AJAX, JavaScript frameworks (e.g., ExtJS), and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
Requirements:
- Expert-level PHP 5.3 development experience and strong SQL skills.
- Familiarity with web standards, debugging, and version control systems like Subversion.
- Excellent communication and ability to work independently with a remote team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Kohana MVC framework and ExtJS.
- Knowledge of Perl or Unix Shell Scripting is a plus.
- Understanding of LAMP or OPAL stacks; OPAL stack preferred.
