APAC Controller & Vertical Finance Lead

Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end finance operations for APAC legal entities, including month-end closing and reconciliations.
• Review and approve journal entries, financial statements, and regulatory filings.
• Manage relationships with banks, vendors, and external advisors.

Accounting Quality & Financial Reporting:

• Ensure accurate and timely accounting, defining treatments for new business activities.
• Validate journal entries and resolve accounting issues across jurisdictions.
• Support continuous improvement of systems and closing procedures.

Internal Controls & Governance:

• Develop and maintain accounting policies and internal control procedures.
• Ensure compliance with group policies and drive remediation of control gaps.
• Promote a culture of accountability and financial discipline.

Team Leadership & Development:

• Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team across the region.
• Set clear priorities and development plans, fostering a collaborative culture.
• Partner with Central Finance to deliver training on standards and controls.
