Senior Systems Support Specialist I - Medical Imaging / Linux

The Senior System Support Specialist is a critical part of our Healthcare IT team, specializing in Radiology Information Systems (RIS), Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS), and other medical imaging solutions. The ideal candidate will provide technical support and troubleshooting for radiology IT systems in hospitals, clinics, and imaging centers. This role involves working closely with radiologists, IT teams, and vendors to ensure optimal system performance, uptime, and compliance with healthcare regulations. Responsibilities include providing technical support for Radiology IT systems, working with radiologists to address system issues, analyzing and resolving technical issues efficiently, and supporting DICOM and HL7 standards. Also, assisting in disaster recovery planning, handling sensitive patient data in compliance with privacy regulations, and documenting troubleshooting activities. Additional responsibilities include participating in an on-call rotation, adhering to regulatory compliance standards, and handling incoming client calls.
