Job Description
Be part of a truly cross-functional team including FE, BE, Product Teams, Designers and QA’s. Participate in product planning from discovery all the way to deployment, providing input at all stages of the Software Development Lifecycle. Collaborate with teams to develop robust new features, APIs, continuously improve industry-leading products, and find and fix bugs at Deel Speed. Ensure that customers receive a white-glove experience with our products.
Bring to the team an excellent understanding of Quality Assurance processes and methodologies (STD, STP), experience with work item tools like Jira, and knowledge of SQL queries. Have at least 5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer with strong knowledge of: JavaScript/TypeScript, Mocha/Jest (or any other test runner), Playwright/Cypress, Axios/Got/Postman (or any other tool for REST API testing), and CI/CD processes.
This role requires someone who excels in designing, writing, running, maintaining, and debugging applications; is proficient in both Manual Testing and Automation Testing; thrives in a collaborative, remote-first work culture; and communicates complex ideas in English with ease. Candidates should also embody genuine care and be passionate about solving customer problems.
