Responsibilities:

  • Design and recommend innovative ideas, processes, and procedures for enhancements, additions, and modifications to improve existing systems.
  • Serve as technical subject matter expert for department and organizational committees and initiatives.
  • Respond to system issues and user requests for assistance, and initiate/lead Incident Management processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-7 years' experience in clinical, health informatics, or IT.
  • At least one application-specific Epic certification required within 120 days of hire.
  • Research Clinical Certification and Research Billing Certification preferred.

Work Environment:

  • This position is entirely remote or work from home, with the person hired living in the Kansas City metro area.
  • The role may attend onsite meetings as scheduled and reports to the Research Informatics division.
