Responsibilities:
- Prospecting and lead generation by identifying and researching clients and conducting cold outreach.
- Qualifying leads based on needs, budget, and authority, and nurturing relationships through regular follow-ups.
Sales Execution:
- Managing a sales pipeline, providing forecasting updates, and tracking opportunities for efficient sales cycles.
- Executing sales strategies to close deals, drive consumable revenue growth, and negotiate contracts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in life science preferred with 4+ years of quota-carrying outside sales experience.
- Capital sales experience in the research tools market with a focus on Proteomics and DNA sequencing.
- Strong desire to win business, a hunter mentality, and ability to travel 60-80% of the time.
- Highly adaptable, independent, and thrives in a startup environment with excellent communication skills.
