Job Description
The Engineer II utilizes the software development lifecycle to implement technology solutions that create and enhance applications, inspecting, analyzing, and translating functional and non-functional requirements into technical design, application code, and configuration parameters. Responsibilities include producing design specifications, converting technical designs into functioning components, providing technical on-call support, creating and executing unit tests, analyzing code for errors, and reviewing application code.
The role also defines and enforces code standards, estimates work based on requirements, improves applications and processes, cultivates relationships across organizations, provides peer coaching and feedback, and works autonomously while demonstrating business knowledge. The role strives to influence the team to achieve desired business outcomes.
